We kicked off our first wedding, as Centerpiece Studio, back in our home town where Centerpiece was created. It was a beautiful 75 degree morning, sun shining & love filled the air. The morning excitement of a lovely boutique customer & her family made this celebration that much more special.
Opening the doors of Sacred Heart Catholic church in downtown Laplata, a small quaint and quiet southern Maryland city, the sun hit the stained glass windows exhibiting the small dust resembling history & charm. No one had been there since the previous evening.
We began piecing together the classic & clean florals the bride had gathered from a local Amish farm, bringing in some of our own favorite greenery, like Dusty Miller and Parvafolia Eucalyptus. The arrangements resembled an elegant & traditional wedding celebration and the family and guests were filled with such sweet and genuine care & warmth.
Celebrations like these make every moment worth any task or duty. To see and contribute to a beautiful day, like this one, and to make someone smile with something you created…there’s no greater feeling. Faith is the most kind hearted, naturally sweet & pure bride and we are so happy to have had the chance to be a little part of her marriage!
